Description  more details

The new Workrite Sierra HX™ is the most innovative adjustable height workcenter for the professional workplace. The standard crossbar has been eliminated to allow maximum leg clearance for worker comfort. Instead, a mount structure under the worksurface provides unmatched stability and plenty of room to attach a CPU holder and keyboard platform and lots of space to position your mobile pedestal.

Sierra HX™ features our beautiful Silhouette Collection of worksurfaces. These sleek tops are whisper thin at just ½", use GREENGUARD® certified material, and are available in a variety of edge treatments.

Sierra HX™ Electric workcenters will lift your spirits along with your essential worktools. Quiet motors provide over 175 pounds of lifting force per leg, so no matter how heavy your workload, the Sierra Electric HX™ is there to support you.

A smooth and powerful, yet quiet, computer controlled motor moves the workcenter at 2 inches per second, quickly making the transition from seated to standing position heights.

With its transitional styling, wide range of available shapes and silver or charcoal metal finish, the Sierra HX™ will adapt to virtually any office environment.

The Sierra HX™ features an exclusive backlit LCD control panel with tactile soft-touch control buttons and 3 programmable memory height presets.

Panel mounts on or under worksurface.

Make your workcenter work for you with our complete line of accessories, mounted to our stylish tool bar or privacy panel.   Sierra's entire worksurface adjusts from 22.0" - 48.0", smoothly and quietly at a rate of 2" per second, with a lifting capacity of 250 lbs.

Ergonomists agree that microbreaks are an excellent way to reduce the affects of repetitive activities. Rather than squirming in your seat late in the day, give your back a rest by standing for a short time. Alternating between standing and seated positions reduces the need for extended workbreaks, increasing employee productivity.
Take a stand for short meetings.

For an easy way to make meetings move faster, set your workcenter to the standing position. You'll be surprised by the prompt pace when people are thinking on their feet.
Decompress your spine (and your mind).

Adopting a sit-to-stand work style can also give your back a break. Research has shown that the intradiscal pressure in seated working positions can be nearly 50% greater than in an upright standing position. Studies also report that when employees use both a seated and standing position throughout the workday, their spinal compression is lessened.
Adjust yourself to a new altitude (and attitude).

The ability to quickly and easily adjust from a seated to standing position makes the difference in motivating your employees to take a stand for comfort. In the time it takes to read this sentence you could have adjusted your table from a seated to standing position using the simple touch controllers provided on our sit-to-stand workcenters.
